Vijay61 project now becomes Mersal officially.
Atlee’s 3rd film and 2nd consecutive film with Vijay which is Vijay61 project now becomes Mersal officially. This is one of the most expected films of 2017. Since this is Thenandal Studio’s 100th film, the makers has announced the title with first-look ahead of Vijay’s birthday. Vijay61 will now be called as Mersal officially!
Two versions of first-look has got released, one with the jallikattu backdrop having Vijay as a farmer & the other one with the son character as Magician. Audio will be released in August and movie is likely to hit screen from October. AR Rahman composes music for the film, Antony L Ruben takes care of the edit.
