Audience need maturity to see Aadai – Filmmaker Rathnakumar

When Rathnakumar made maiden debut as a filmmaker through Meyaadha Maan, he received the warmth receptions for a decorous entertainer. Of course, none could have envisaged that his abrupt next could be something more off a difference. Nonetheless, he proves it evidently through the first look poster of his upcoming film ‘Aadai’ featuring Amala Paul in lead role. Certainly, the instantaneous thought that strikes our mind is that if Aadai is an experimental film. Ask filmmaker Rathnakumar and he says, “Not at all! The film has been treated with entertainment factors, but audience maturity to see Aadai.”

Furthermore, Rathnakumar adds that the film was inspired by a particular incident that he came across before 3 years. While sharing the reason behind signing up Amala Paul, Rathnakumar says that he was looking for someone who could pull off the role with boldness and confidence. “Precisely, we wanted an actress, who shouldn’t be conscious about the performance, but effortlessly get it done. When we approached Amala Paul and narrated the script, she confessed that the role has made her emotionally inclined towards it,” says the Meyaadha Maan director.

The shooting of this film ‘Aadai’ is happening on full swing and Amala Paul, who plays the role of Kaamini has marveled everyone with her looks in this first look.
