Gautham Karthik who debuted under Mani Ratnam in Kadal has signed to feature in a remake. It will be a remake of the Telugu blockbuster film Ala Modalaindi which featured Nani and Nithya Menon in the lead. P. Ravikumar will produce this film under his banner Ravi Prasad Production. The direction will be taken care by Ravi Thyagarajan, who has worked as an assistant director under Priyadarshan in Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.
Music will be scored by D.Imman while the remaining cast and crew are yet to be finalised. The shooting are expected to commence soon in various locations such as Mysore, Hyderabad and abroad!
Gautham Karthik will also to work under director Saravanan from April.
