It is been 28 years since the legenday music director and lyricist worked together for Adi Aathadi song from Kadalora Kavithaigal in 1986. Ilaiyaraaja to sing a song penned by Vairamuthu for Idam Porul Aeval under Yuvan Shankar Raja music. There were reports earlier that Dhanush has penned Ilaiyaraaja’s song but the unit has clarified that the song has been penned by Vairamuthu for which the lyrics are still to be finalized. This song is said to be an ‘Amma’ song and the recording is set to happen soon once the lyrics are finalized.
Idam Porul Aeval has Viishnu Vishal, Vijay Sethupathi, Nandira, Iyshwarya in the lead roles. This film is directed by Seenu Ramasamy and produced by Thirrupathi Brothers.
