Komban duo to collaborate again?
Filmmaker Muthaiah made his directorial debut with the film ‘Kutti Puli’ that starred Sasikumar in lead role. Following the decent run of this film, Muthaiah was signed by K.E. Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green Films for a new film titled ‘Komban’. The film featuring Karthi and Lakshmi Menon in lead roles fetched tremendous response and indeed became a box office winner as well. Aftermath the success of this film, it was reported that producer K.E. Gnanavel Raja would be working with Muthaiah for yet another rural based family entertainer. The movie was supposedly to feature Suriya in lead role, but it didn’t happen due to some reasons.
On his part, Muthaiah worked with Vishal in Marudhu followed by Sasikumar in Kodi Veeran. While the director has started working on the script for his next movie, it is learnt that Komban duo might collaborate again. It seems that K.E. Gnanavel Raja will be once again signing up Muthaiah to wield megaphone for his project. It is not yet confirmed on who will be playing the lead role, but the official announcements might happen anytime sooner.
