Linus Media signs Mersal Holland, Belgium Distribution Rights
Bigger things are consistently happening with Mersal. With the post-production close on the heels of completion, trade for Mersal rights is peaking top. The rights across Tamil Nadu and Rest of India are getting locked in a fast mode. Well, the overseas rights aren’t an exception too as the business involving this Vijay starrer movie is bigger. Amidst the stunning scenario, Mersal Holland and Belgium rights deal is over now. According to the confirmed reports, Linus Media has acquired the theatrical release rights of this film. It is noteworthy that Linus Media has already released almost all the hit movies of Vijay.
Atlee has directed the film Mersal that reportedly featuring Vijay in three different avatars. Samantha, Nithya Menen and Kajal Aggarwal are playing female lead roles. SJ Surya will be locking horns with Vijay in negative role. Sathyaraj, Vadivelu, Kovai Sarala and Sathyan are appearing in important roles.
AR Rahman’s songs have already topped the charts. Meanwhile, the preparations are on in full swing to release the Mersal theme and the teaser shortly.
Thenandal Studios Limited is producing the film and releases this Diwali.
