Raju Mahalingam resigns from Lyca Productions

It has turned to be a mix of shock and sensation on Raju Mahalingam resigning from Lyca Productions. He has been the creative head for Lyca Productions, who happens to be one of the most prestigious production studios of Indian film industry. The reason cited by Raju Mahalingam is that he would be joining the political party of Superstar Rajinikanth. Raju, furthermore adds that he will work on shaping the political party of Rajinikanth from the base level and that he wants to be actively involved in the mission of Superstar.

Raju Mahalingam admits that he was fascinated towards the ideologies of Superstar Rajinikanth after working with him for nearly 3 years.

Lyca Productions is bankrolling Rajinikanth’s upcoming film 2.0 that is being made at a whopping budget of 350Crs. The film will be hitting screens in April 2018 simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Featuring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in lead roles, the film is directed by Shankar. AR Rahman has composed music and Nirav Shah has handled cinematography.
