Saamy 2 shoot begins with Vikram and Keerthy Suresh
Vikram was donning the lead roles in the film Sketch and Dhruva Natchathiram. The shooting of the film Sketch has been completed and the shooting of Dhruva Natchathiram is nearing end. At this juncture, Vikram was gearing up for his next titled Saamy 2. Today being an auspicious day, the shooting of Saamy directed by Hari has commenced.
Trisha and Keerthi Suresh are donning the female lead roles. Bobby Simha is donning the dreaded villain role. Prabhu, Delhi Ganesh, John Vijay, Soori and Imman Annachi are also starring in the film. Devi Sri Prasad will be composing the music while Priyan will handle the camera. Shibu Thameems is producing this high budgeted film under the banner Thameems films.
The first half of the film is to be shot in Tirunelveli and its surroundings. Majority of the portions pertaining to second half are to be shot in Northern states including Rajasthan.
