“Settai” remake of Delhi Belhi is an upcoming flick featuring Arya, Hansika, Santhanam, Premgi & Nasser in the lead. “Settai movie also shot using Red Epic Camera like our Thaandavam & the quality is fantastic. Used multiple cameras a few days 2 shoot action scenes. 1st schedule of Arya’s Settai got over today successfully after 20 days of shoot in 3 different sets constructed at over Rs.1 crore cost” Says the producer Dhananjayan Govind, Arya, Santhanam, Hansika, Premgi & Anjali R kicked about the progress & agreed to give priority dates 2 complete da film in 2 more schedules.
When asked about the progress of film Arya says “I just spoke to Dhananjayan sir after the shoot & highly appreciated their good planning & execution by UTV team, this was the best among my films.
One of the highlight of “Settai” is going to be Action Choreographer Silva’s stunts & chase scenes. Brilliant work with fantastic shots. Given a good screenplay & dialogues, R. Kannan proved again that he is brilliant in direction & execution. Arya & other cast are very happy. “The climax shoot is completed and came out beautifully by Silva Master in detail (not like Hindi)” Dhananjayan Govind says.
“Settai” will be another complete entertainer from UTV. Targeting 11th January 2013 release for Pongal. Arya, Santhanam & Premgi will rock. Dhananjayan sir was there personally at the shoot on all days & everything went as planned. Great to see the producer of the film is very active in all activities and taking part in the new style of promotion to their movies. Their recent hit Kalakalappu just an example for it. 1St Schedule of 20Days completed yesterday held at Benny Mills with 3 different sets constructed at Rs.1 crore cost. “Settai” 1st schedule had 2 VIP visitors. Suriya & STR . They visited on different days. It was sweet of Actors visiting other movies on spot to drop in & chat with each other. Next Schedule of the movie will commence from 8th June.
