Sibiraj’s Ranga gets fast on heels for release now
When the career graph of Sibiraj was proceeding through the mediocre phase, he had a decent spell with Naaigal Jaakirathai. The film was directed by Sakthi Soundar Rajan and it actually garnered him good reception. Following this, the actor managed to make decent strokes with movies like ‘Jackson Durai’ and ‘Sathya’. Now the actor is simultaneously working on many films that are scheduled at different stages of production.
Recently, there was news about the actor shooting for ‘Maayon’, which completely belongs to a different genre from his erstwhile movies. It’s the story revolving around group of archeologists unraveling a mystery inside a 5000-yr old Temple. Apart from this film, Sibiraj has completed working on ‘Ranga’, an action thriller, directed by Vinod DL. The actor along with other co-stars in the film had recently completed dubbing the portions.
Producer Vijay K Celliah has now confirmed that the film’s release will happen in February 2019. The first half of this film is completely about family elements following which the latter hour revolves around the action thriller. Major portions have been shot in and around Chennai while few important sequences are filmed in Kashmir.
