Sivakarthikeyan’s fantasy film gets AR Rahman onboard
The final word is out! It has been a long pending buzz that has been relentlessly shooting towards nook and corners of town. AR Rahman composing music for a Sivakarthikeyan film has been something that has been an out of box imagination. But the excitements were mounting up literally as soon as we heard this call on airs. Finally, it’s announced by the festive occasion of Pongal season that Academy award winner AR Rahman will be composing music for this film. Touted to be a fantasy based entertainer, the film is being shot at an unimaginably fancy price. Lots of big names including Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor and cinematographer Nirav Shah are being tagged with this film. Nevertheless, there hasn’t been any official word on their inclusions.
But for now, it’s the biggest excitement to see that AR Rahman is teaming up with Sivakarthikeyan for the first time. This film is directed by Ravikumar of Indru Netru Naalai fame and much alike this movie, it would be a fantasy genre set against the contemporary time backdrops.
Currently, Sivakarthikeyan has completed 60% of his upcoming film, directed by Ponram, which is produced by RD Raja of 24AM Studios.
Henceforth, RD Raja and Sivakarthikeyan are teaming up for the fourth time followed by Remo, Velaikkaran and rumoured title Seema Durai.
