Vijay Sethupathi-Trisha starrer 96 for September 13 release?

Nonetheless, the brimming hopes on 96 seem to be fulfilling with positive vibes through songs and visual promos. While the initial buzzes were that Vijay Sethupathi-Trisha starrer ‘96’ release is scheduled for September 7, it was later denied to be a rumour. According to the latest reports, it is hummed up that the film will hit screens on September 13. The date marking the festive occasion of Vinayagar Chathurthi already has lined up releases of Sivakarthikeyan’s Seema Raja and Samantha starrer U-Turn.
It looks like; there is no option for Madras Enterprises producer Nandagopal than this date to release 96. This is because; the forthcoming dates are already occupied with other releases, especially with Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam hitting screens on September 28.
However, there hasn’t been any official announcement involving the film’s release. Meanwhile, the songs composed by Govind Vasantha have already topped the charts and has been rated highly by critics as well.
