Actor Sivakarthikeyan was on cloud nine with the grand response to audio of Velaikkaran. The audio launch happened in grandeur among fanfare. Speaking on the occasion, Sivakarthikeyan thanked each and every member of the team for being so much affectionate towards him during the entire process.
He said, “Soon after watching Thani Oruvan, I happened to wish Mohan Raja sir expressing my view that we could work on a project. I was surprised one day to get a call from him and RD Raja sir saying that we are working together. The title ‘Velaikkaran’ instantly gave me a shock and kind of doubt whether the script would do justice to one of the Rajinikanth’s blockbuster hit movie title. After going through the script, we could find a much satisfaction that it was so much substantial.
Yet another surprisal shock was Fahadh Faasil getting onboard. What can I do in front of a classic actor like him? There is no chance to compete along with him, but just to stay back and enjoy his show. He is one of the finest actors of Indian cinema. I will boast of Fahadh Faasil in front of Hollywood actors.”
