Jai Lava Kusa Movie Review
Junior NTR starrer Jai Lava Kusa has a very simple plot and goes with regular narrative of a commercial cinema. But what makes it more special is none other than Junior NTR. He is magical and his screen presence outpours throughout the show.
The plot revolves around triplets Jai, Lava and Kusa (all three roles played by Jr. NTR). As kids, they all take part in stage plays, where Lava and Kusa get good credits, but Jai is cornered for his unprivileged nature of being a stutterer. Sooner, they all get separated by a fire accident in stage play that is created by Jai, whose innocence is converted into wrath for being humiliated. After years, life forces them to bounce upon each other and what unfolds next is narrated with fun and emotions.
Analyzing a film like Jai Lava Kusa is definitely an easy task. It doesn’t run with a complicated and nature. Thanks to filmmaker Bobby for keeping the screenplay intact. Be the three characterizations of Jr. NTR and the way crisply their flashbacks are narrated, it’s perfect. Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Thomas have nothing much to score here.
Lava and Kusha
When it comes to three characters, it’s Jai who just rules the show with his grey shaded role. He just sweeps us off the feet with his outstanding performance in climax act. Not to miss the other two roles – Lava and Kusha. The scenes of Lava by the first half with his innocuous nature are best. Kusha as a conman with funny elements is entertaining. Others in the cast including Sai Kumar have done their roles efficiently.
Technically, the CG artists deserve special mention for showcasing three different avatars together without any flaws on the screens. Devi Sri Prasad has tried to underplay here without any exaggerated music.
Overall, Jai Lava Kusa is a celebration for Jr NTR fans and it is a film that has perfect mix of commercial elements.
