Movie Plot:
Vijay plays the role of an Indian Army officer and goes to mumbai for his vacation and meets Kajal Aggarwal and later sees some bomb blasts and the story is how Vijay gets into the investigation and saves the public is the rest of the story. In between all these, comes the romance, comedy, etc. Movie starting with the mass intro song Kutti puli koottam, well picturised similar to the intro songs seen in previous Vijay movies
Actor roles and Plus: There’s nothing bad to say about the movie, Vijay at his best, day by day he looks young and he is fitted for this role, the chemistry between Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal. Few scenes are very hilarious. Vijay – Sathyan after Nanban another chance for Sathyan to perform and to show his acting skills. Jayaram came only for few scenes but he make us laugh with his wonderful performance.
Then talking about Vidyut, who is terrific, his body language, actions are amazing not the typical villain we usually see in Tamil cinema with roaring voice with a revenge,
About Songs: All songs are well picturised specially “Google Google” and “Alaikaa”, with Vijay’s rocking steps, “Vennilave” is a slow poison. Poi Paravaa is the climax song which make us feel and proud for Indian army.
About Music: Harris Jayaraj did a decent job, songs are already topping the charts, his re-recording is very nice specially the BGM used for Vijay and Villan Vidyut.
Positives:
+ Vijay’s acting
+ Santosh Sivan’s Camera
+ All actors did their role well
+ BGM
+ Screenplay
Negatives:
– Movie little bit lengthy
– Movie story is predictable
– Poi Varavaa song misplaced
Overall A.R.Murugadoss rocked after the debacle of 7 Aum Arivu, his screenplay is very neat and moving on a rapid space. He is playing with the intelligence of Hero and Villan and Thuppakki will cross 100 crores easily and this movie will make every Indian proud
