Vishal Mysskin Thupparivalan Songs Review

Thupparivalan Music Review

Perhaps, a long time, we got to experience something from Vishal film and nearly after a year, it is Thupparivalan. Mysskin has directed this detective based suspense thriller starring Vishal, Anu Emmanuel, Vinay Rai and Andrea Jeremiah in lead roles. The film’s single track composed by Arrol Corelli has been released. Let us have a vivid analysis on this track.

Ivan Thupparivalan

Singers: Hemambiga and Mysskin

There is something special about this track. We aren’t sure if this would be a Chartbuster, but it carries a perfect structure and disciplined pattern. A genre based on suspense-mystery-detective in western movies usually has music that is so mild with the rhythmic beats. Not like some of the usual albums that have jarring distorted guitars and loud metal music. Arrol Corelli has imprinted wizardry with his work here. The beats are uniformly pleasant, mild and at the same time evoke a sense of eeriness that comes with fill-ins and strings.

The violins played during the interludes are the best seasonings. Mysskin recites few lines and his crooning style is plain yet convincing. The female vocalism by Hemambiga embraces a kind of fantasy. Usually, an inner voice of the deepest darkness and silence embedded with mystery would hit well with the mystical female voice and it is very well utilized here. It can be sensed that ‘Ivan Thupparivalan’ would be the title song in this film.
