Dulquer Salmaan brings Maniratnam & Rajiv Menon together
The evening at Chennai was indeed a pretty and grooviest moment for Dulquer Salmaan. Moreover, with OK Kanmani celebrating his birthday, nothing could have been a better gift than these versatile filmmakers showing up. It was all for the promotions of Dulquer Salmaan’s bilingual film ‘Solo’ directed by Bejoy Nambiar.
It wasn’t just for mere reason that Maniratnam loves Dulquer Salmaan, but for unconditional affinity for his long-time associate, Bejoy Nambiar as-well. Sharing the experience on Solo, Dulquer Salmaan said that it’s not easy thing to shoot for a bilingual film. Moreover shooting for a film like Solo, which is anthology of 4 stories had pressure like filming 8 movies at-a-time.
Speaking on the occasion, Maniratnam cited that he happened to see more visuals than what Bejoy Nambiar has shown in teaser. “I am filled with more curiosities to see the whole movie,” added the versatile filmmaker.
On his part, Rajiv Menon graphed up his opinion saying that “it’s not easy thing to shoot a single song. But Solo being made as bilingual movie features 30 songs together, which is remarkably exceptional.”
