Vijay Sethupathi’s Karuppan movie is all geared up for tomorrow’s music launch. The movie is written and directed by R Panneerselvam. A. M. Rathnam produces Karuppan under the banner of Shri Sai Raam Creations. Music for Karuppan is composed by D.Imman.
Vijay Sethupathi signed up for this movie in last September. Karuppan team had a tough time in finalizing the female lead. In a way, Tanya is lucky to play the role of female lead in Karuppan. Because Keerthy Suresh, Ritika Singh and Lakshmi Menon are the ones who refused to act in Karuppan due to various reasons. Also, the film features prominent actor Bobby Simha who plays an important role.
In the month of January Karuppan crew began filming in Theni location. The motion poster of Karuppan was released last month. People’s favorite Vijay Sethupathi is seen controlling the ferocious bull in motion poster. Certainly, the praises haven’t stopped for Karuppan movie from that time. The name of the bull which is being shown in Karuppan movie is Komban.

Yesterday evening, music director D.Imman made an official announcement on his Twitter page. Where he says, the audio for Karuppan movie to be available from 31st August 6 pm. The album consists of 5 songs and few karaoke tracks are also expected to be included in this alum.

The story line is said to be around the bull taming sport Jallikattu. Tamil people wouldn’t have forgotten the historic protest held in Marina beach this January where many gathered to support Jallikattu. As a result, the government had passed an ordinance and conducted the Jallikattu event successfully across Tamil Nadu. Because of which, the movie has set high expectations among the traditional sport lovers.
