Vijay Sethupathi as Shilpa in Super Deluxe
Vijay Sethupathi who is fondly called as Makkal Selvan creates buzz every now and then. Unlike other film stars, he is known to attract the audience with his unique selection of movies. Luckily, it had come well for him till now. His marvelous talent in acting has fetched him plenty of awards over the years.
In 2017, he has already given three movies – Kavan, Vikram Vedha, Puriyatha Puthir. Apart from this, his next movie Karrupan based on bull taming sport Jallikattu is set to hit the screens on September 29. At the same time, he is also the producer cum actor of movie Junga which would be shot in Paris. Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren, 96 and Seethakathi are the other upcoming movies of Vijay Sethupathi. Above all, he is making a Telugu debut this year with Chiranjeevi in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.
Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s announcement
To everyone’s astonishment, Thiagarajan revealed the first look of Super Deluxe in the micro-blogging site Twitter. For a moment many couldn’t realize that the person who is in poster was Vijay Sethupathi. Such was the perfection in his pose. Arguably, the best look you could get from this actor. He is likely to portray as Shilpa in this film. From the time announcement has come, his fans have taken the celebration to next level. This poster also received splendid responses from movie critics.
Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s made his directorial debut in Aaranya Kaandam. That was the first neo-noir film in Tamil industry. It also won him two national awards. After a long gap of 6 years he will be directing the movie Super Deluxe. This movie was initially titled as Aneethi Kathaigal. But the crew has now decided to go with Super Deluxe.
Super Deluxe Cast
Samtha Ruth Prabhu plays the role of female lead in Super Deluxe. This film also features Gayathrie Shankar and Fahadh Faasil in the important roles. While Mysskin, Nadhiya, Bagavathy are playing the supporting roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja composes music for it. P S Vinod who did cinematography for Aaranya Kaandam and Vikram Vedha will be working his magic out for this film too. Initially, PC Sreeram was signed to perform this task but he pulled off due to production delays. Nirav Shah is likely to support P S Vinod in the cinematography. Nalan Kumarasamy, Mysskin, Neelan Shekar and Kumararaja to write scripts for Super Deluxe. Sathyaraj does the editing while Vijayadhinathan concentrates on art work. The producers for this film are Kino Fist and Tyler Durden.
Not to forget that, one of the well known actor Sivakarthikeyan too played the role of a nurse to impress Keerthi Suresh in Remo. The reception for Remo was wonderful from Tamil audience which resulted in a huge commercial success.
Presently Vijay Sethupathi is giving a tough competition to top actors in the industry. It shouldn’t come as a surprise if he overtakes everyone down the line.
