Mersal poster shoots the doubt of Vijay’s roles
Mersal starring Vijay, Samantha, Nithya Menen and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles is scheduled for release shortly. The film’s teaser is gearing up for release on September 21 for Atlee’s birthday. It happened during the audio launch of Mersal that everyone had something to say about Vijay’s roles. Atlee as usual tried to keep the surprise saying that audience have to wait for Diwali to see if Vijay is dual or triple action. When SJ Surya walked upon the dais, he said, “There are three Ilayathalapathy in the film.” Apparently, when Vijay had his turn to address the crowds, he surprised saying, “Being a film with double action, it has been completed in a short span of time. Thanks to Atlee and his team for a vigorous work.”
These contradictory statements had turned the audiences so much curious to know what the real fact is. Now adding more to the sensation is teaser poster. The one released last night features the family photo of Vijay, Nithya Menen, a kid and a Jallikattu bull. While the buzzes earlier said that it is a story of father and two twins, it is getting confusing now. We do see only one son in the picture and thus it gives an impression of double action. But then, we can’t tell anything affirmed as there might be unexpected surprise in theaters.
