Maari 2 official announcement on cast and crew revealed
Director Balaji Mohan and Dhanush collaborated for ‘Maari’ in 2015, which was a commercial success. The film proved to be a huge treat for Dhanush fans and they were so much excited to hear their matinee idol open upon sequel as well. After long stretch of scripting and pre-production works, the official announcement regarding Maari 2 was made by Balaji Mohan recently. From then onwards, the announcements involving cast and crew made one after the other has been sending high excitements into our nerves.
Especially with Yuvan Shankar Raja getting onboard to compose music gave an instant hit on senses. It’s a comeback for Dhanush-YSR duo nearly 10 years after they delivered incessant chartbusters. The film was launched recently in Chennai with a formal pooja on December 14. The shooting of this film will be commencing by this month and Yuvan Shankar Raja has reportedly completed composing music already.
Sai Pallavi is playing the female lead role in Maari 2, which has an ensemble star-cast involving Tovino Thomas, Kreshna, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vinoth and Ajay Ghosh alongside Robo Shankar. Om Prakash (Cinematography), Prasanna G.K. (Editing), Vasuki Bhaskar (Costumes) and Silva (Stunts) form the technical crew.
