I saw my father being cheated by a fraud through technology – Vishal
Actor Vishal was more adored as a philanthropist and politician during the audio launch of Irumbuthirai. It wasn’t an intentional move, but every celebrity who attended the occasion as chief guest proclaimed so. Right from actress Rohini, RK Selvamani and almost everyone spoke of the Vishal’s greatest work in escalating the scenario of Tamil Film Producer Council and Nadigar Sangam.
While speaking about the film, actor Vishal said, “Irumbu Thirai isn’t something about fantasy, but something real that is happening in our everyday. The cyber crime and even a single rupee looted from our bank account remain unnoticed by many today. I saw my father being cheated by a fraud through technology. Such experiences instantly indulged me into the script narrated by PS Mithran.”
PS Mithran, director of this film said, “Before few years, my friend and I were casually interacting. Suddenly, he got a mobile alert that Rs. 40,000 has been debited from his account. There was no clue to what happened and even the bank staffs couldn’t get a clear picture about what that was all about. Such instances instigated me to write a script based digital crimes.”
Irumbu Thirai is scheduled for February release. Vishal Film Factory has produced this film, which has Samantha playing the female lead role. Action King Arjun would be seen in the negative character and this happens to be Yuvan Shankar Raja’s 125th film.
