“I still remember the way Ajith Kumar treated me genuinely” – Dhorai VZ
Filmmaker Dhorai VZ has one among the rarest yet privileged one to make his directorial venture at a younger age. With producer Ibrahim Rowther being his maternal uncle, he made his directorial debut with Mugavari featuring Ajith Kumar and Jyotika in lead roles. Lately in time, he shot to fame for his movies like Thotti Jaya and Nepali. After a long hiatus, the director makes his comeback with the film ‘Iruttu’ starring Sundar C and Dhansika in lead roles. Touted to be a horror film with new premise, the director assures that the film will be an exceptional experience for the audiences.
While sharing the working experience with Ajith Kumar in Mugavari, he says, “I still remember the way Ajith Kumar treated me genuinely. He is someone, who doesn’t take the new directors for granted, but makes sure that he gives the perfect output as expected by me. There have been times, when I used to call it ‘Shot Okay’, but then he would find something wrong with my face reactions. He would openly say that I am not happy with the results and would go for another take.”
