Maniratnam’s Kadal releasing February 1st:
The most expected movie Kadal which is directed by Maniratnam is already creating waves by the release of its audio songs. Now the production house, “Madras Talkies” has officially confirmed the release date of the film. The film’s Tamil version “Kadal” and Telugu version “Kadali” will be simultaneously releasing on February 1st 2013. The audio of Kadali will be releasing on December 26th.
Yesteryear actress Radha’s second daughter Thulasi and yesteryear actor Karthik’s son Gautham Karthik are making their debut in this movie as the lead roles. Arvindswamy, Arjun, Ponvannan, Pasupathy, Lakshmi Manchu, Thambi Ramaiah are also doing important roles in this film. Gautham Karthik is playing the role of a fisherman from Rameshwaram and Thulasi will be doing the role of a school going girl in this film. The movie has not yet undergone censor certification but the production house has confirmed the release 39 days prior. Already the short teasers which was released has created hype on the movie and the other promotion campaign is expected to start in forthcoming weeks.
The movie is produced by Maniratnam and Manohar Prasad whereas the script is written by Maniratnam and Jeyamohan. Cinematography is handled by Rajiv Menon and editing by A.Sreekar Prasad. Music is composed by A.R.Rahman and the songs are penned by Vairamuthu and Karky. The movie will be distributed by Gemini film circuit.
