Priya Anand who is doing the lead with Shiva in Vanakkam Chennai opens up her role in the film. Priya Anand will be doing the role of a today’s modern woman, named Anjali. This film is said to be a romantic comedy with lot of fun. She even mentions that the title “Vanakkam Chennai” is relates to the story a lot and people while watching the film will come to know about it.
Priya Anand says that she is very happy to be working with a gang of talented women in this project which includes actor Viishnu’s wife Rajini with the director Kiruthiga and very comfortable with each other on the sets.
Santhanam will also sharing space with Shiva and Priya Anand in this film. This film has music composed by ‘kolaveri’ boy Anirudh and directed by debutant Kiruthiga Udhaynidhi, produced by Udhaynidhi Stalin under his banner Red Giant Movies.
