The Production house which started off with the blockbuster movie 16 Vayathinile will be releasing their first movie 16 Vayathinile (1977) again in digital format following the success of Karnan. The Production House Shree Amman Creation have so far produced 12 films in Kollywood.
16 Vayathinile has been a landmark for the legends from Kollywood industry. This movie has set up a Rajinikanth’s first color film in Ktown in which he started off the ‘style’ of his own. The notable dialogue of it is ” Idhu eppadi irukku ” which was introduced by Director Bharathi raja. The film has also been the debut for the legendary comedian Goundamani . This movie has also bagged 4 state awards (Best Actor – Kamal Haasan, Best Director – Bharathiraja, Best Playback Singer – S.Janaki, Best Music Director – Ilaiyaraaja), 1 national award (Best Singer – S.Janaki) and 1 filmfare (South) award (Best Actror – Rajinikanth).
The film will be re-releasing again with a budget of one crore by adding new sound effects and colors to it. Some of the music in the film is to be composed again by Maestro Ilaiyaraaja to give a better clarity in the digital audio. The production team is also gearing up for a diwali release.
The promotion will be made by all hero’s and technicians in satyam cinemas. The Production team is also planned to produce a new movie with K.S.Ravi Kumar as director and Surya in Lead Roles (officially Unconfirmed). The talks on about the movie is going on in full swing and can be expected an announcement in near future.
