Actor Santhanam waits and shifts to Mumbai for Yogi Babu
There were days when the entire league of A-star and newcomers would wait for the call sheet of comedy actors. Who can forget the moment when Superstar Rajinikanth told P. Vasu to get the call sheet of Vadivelu and then confirm ‘Chandramukhi’? Well, such scenarios continued well for comedian Santhanam, who became the favorite cherry pick from Superstar Rajinikanth to the fresh faces. They had to wait for his call sheet and schedule the shooting plans accordingly. However, it’s Yogi Babu who has become their successor in bagging almost all the big and small projects in K-Town.
The actor has now lined up more than two dozen films and it includes almost everything from Superstar Rajinikanth’s Darbar to untitled movies with newcomers. More than all, he is playing the lead role in a couple of movies titled ‘Gurkha’ and ‘Dharma Prabhu’ as well. So what’s more exciting and surprising to see is that Santhanam himself had to wait and relocate the shooting to Mumbai for the sake of Yogi Babu. It seems that the makers of Santhanam’s upcoming film ‘A1’ wanted Yogi Babu’s call sheet.
Since the comedian is busy shooting for Darbar, the team has decided to shoot the portions in Mumbai itself. Now Yogi Babu will complete his portions for Rajinikanth’s movie and start filming for Santhanam’s A1.
