Actress Anushka joins Arya, who are playing the lead in Selvaraghavan’s Irandam Ulagam, an upcoming bilingual Tamil and Telugu romantic drama film. The film shooting had take off on 24 December 2011, in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. ‘Irandam Ulagam’ is reportedly the first ever Tamil film to have scenes canned in Brazil. It is reported that Arya and Anushka will play double roles. Selvaraghavan reported that the film will have CG scenes, Some portions were shot in Hyderabad and the team is currently working at Georgia for two month schedule. Anushka after finishing some of her portions for Karthi’ Alex Pandian, will be joining the unit in Georgia.
A source says, “Director Selva and Arya have been shooting in Georgia for a while now, canning certain important scenes. Anushka, who last shot with them in Goa, and for some patchwork in the city, joined them two days back. Even Gitanjali, Selva’s wife, has left for the location. They will be in Georgia till the end of this month.” With just few more scenes left to be finished, we hear the audio release is being planned on for the end of next month. Selva had even commented that the post-production work on the film is turning out to be Demanding because of CG works.
