“Dev is a mixed bag of love, friendship and positivity” – Rajath Ravishankar
Actor Karthi is now wrapping up with the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Dev’. With debut filmmaker Rajath Ravishankar wielding the megaphone, the film’s first look had created an impeccable impact. With lots of buzzes created that the movie will be on the lines of Paiyya, Rajath Ravishankar gets down to clarify saying, “Dev is a mixed bag of love, friendship and positivity.”
Furthermore, he says, “The film will have lots of adventures, romance and so many embellishments engrossing the audiences thoroughly.” Of course, Dev happens to be a film that is shot across 150 locations in 80 days span of filming. On shedding lights about Karthi’s involvement he says, “There was a cliffhanging scene across the steep rock mountains of Ukraine, where Karthi had to dive into waters. Although, the water had unhealthy condition, he didn’t even care about it and performed the stunts for 15 takes continuously.”
Dev features Karthi and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles with Ramya Krishnan, Prakash Raj and many more prominent actors being a part of it. Navarasa Nayagan Karthik and Nikki Galrani will be seen in special roles. Harris Jayaraj is composing music for this film with Velraj handling cinematography.
