With UTV Motion Pictures recently revealing the first look of Mugamoodi, which has Jiiva in the protagonistm role, people started going gaga over it. With Mysskin’s Direction, it is the first superhero subject in Tamil cinema.
About choosing this theme, Mysskin said, “An ordinary man is not enough to question all the bad things that are taking place in the society today. I felt that a superhero would be an apt person to fix that.“
When buzzed him about the work on movie “Hong Kong-based technicians have worked on the costumes and the superhero looks of Jiiva. While Jiiva plays a kung-fu exponent, actor Narain essays a role with grey shades. Pooja Hegde is the girl sizzling alongside of Jiiva in the role of a journalist. Music director K composes the tracks for the movie.”
“It is one of the most difficult films to make -both for Mysshkin as well as Jiiva, “remarks Dhanajayan Govind of UTV . He adds, “80% of the movie has been shot at night and mostly in public places. We thought we could shoot peacefully in the late hours. But, it was otherwise! Every time we landed at a location, a huge crowd would throng the place to watch the shooting, not minding staying there even till the wee hours.“
Its even said that Mysskin who does things differently is planning on sequels with Mugamoodi, and all of them will have Jiiva in the lead role.
