Now that he is an established director and producer in cinema, it is time for Gautham Vasudev Menon to enter the small screen. Through his production house Photon Kathas, the filmmaker will produce a talent hunt show.
In a statement released on London Stock Exchange’s AIM exchange, where it is listed, Photon Kathas has confirmed this development. The show titled ‘Sitaara’ will simultaneously be produced in Tamil, Telugu,Kannada and Malayalam.
With Oscar-Grammy winner and Gautham Menon’s good friend A R Rahman playing the role of advisor, the show will be produced by Photon Kathas by forging a partnership with tennis star Mahesh Bhupathi’s GloboSport.
Photon Kathas CEO Venkat Somasundaram said in the statement: ‘It is a clear example of our stated objective of producing and exploiting adiverse portfolio of South Indian content across multiple formats and languages.
