Kadal is Mani Ratnam’s next film with Gautham Karthick, son of “Navarasa Nayagan” Karthick, and Thulasi Nair in the lead roles. Having scored by oscar winner A.R.Rahman, the album has become a raging hit among the audience.
Camera will be handled by Rajiv Menon, who teams up again with Mani Ratnam after the successful Guru and Bombay. The story is about a Christian fisherman Thomas who believes faith can win any war.
Gemini Film circuit who has bagged the distribution rights will be releasing the movie. Kadal is expected to hit the big screens on February 1st, though the official confirmation is still pending. The film has been censored and has come out with a clean “U” certificate.
