Yesteryear Actor Karthik’s son Gautham Karthik and Actress Radha’s 2nd daughter Thulasi is doing the lead role in Maniratnam’s film Kadal. A.R.Rahman has composed music for this film. The album totally has 7 tracks for which Vairamuthu and Karky has penned 3 songs each and Aryan Dinesh Kanagaratnam has penned 1 song.
