Kanchana 3-DEV-Airaa for a Christmas box office race?
2018 has turned to be a feast for Tamil film buffs, especially for the second half of it with lots of promising movies on the flow. Moreover, it becomes amalgamated with the big tickets too, which has created the expectations beyond the linguistic barriers. Of course, Vijay’s Sarkar and Rajinikanth’s 2.0 will hold its majority of drawing the universal crowds. On the other hand, there comes a series of movies that are rigidly looking out for its release before this yearend. Moreover, it’s all going to be in December, where nearly a dozen of much awaited films are looking forward to block the dates. Concurrently, what seemingly is confirmed for the Christmas releases are Raghava Lawrence’s Kanchana 3, Nayanthara’s Airaa and Karthi-Rakul Preet Singh starrer DEV.
While the post-production works of Kanchana 3 are happening on full swing, it is said that the producers have already gained profit even before its completion. Apparently, AIRAA being another supernatural thriller for the same season, the expectations are getting bigger as Nayanthara appears in dual roles. Karthi-Rakul Preet Singh starrer DEV will be an adventure action thriller.
