Karthi-Rakul Preet Singh Rom-Com for Christmas?
Over the past couple of years, actor Karthi has been consistently taking up scripts that are unconventional much alike his initial stage of career. Now it looks like, the actor needs a break from running across deserts and thorny lands. Well, it is so much evident with how his upcoming film ‘Kadaikutty Singam’ is being shaped up. Already 40% of the shooting is completed and plans are going on full swing to get it released by May. Pandiraj who is well known for making family entertainers is wielding megaphone for this movie, produced by Suriya under 2D Entertainment. Soon after the completion of this film, Karthi will be teaming up with debut filmmaker Rajath. The film will be a pure love story with essence of comedy blended. After Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, Karthi will be seen once again sharing screen space with Rakul Preet Singh.
Prince Pictures Lakshman who had earlier produced Singam 2 is currently bankrolling yet to release Mohini and will produce this movie. According to the latest confirmation, shooting of this film will begin in May and is tentatively scheduled for Christmas release.
