Kathir’s Sigai Trailer – A hunt for Nimi
The young actor Kathir has hen picked some unusual scripts right from his debut film ‘Kirumi’. With scrutinising efforts, he happened to take up roles despites minimal prominence, which has won praises for him. Say for instance, his role in multi-starrer movies like ‘Ennodu Vilaiyaadu’ and recent release ‘Vikram Vedha’ have been great exemplifications. Last evening, it was a much hyped up scenario for Kathir’s Sigai trailer. It was precisely due to the big names like Sivakarthikeyan, Nivin Pauly and Samantha launching it in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
More than all such sensational celebrities, the theatrical trailer of Sigai itself proves to be a substantial one. The entire trailer throws up light on one question – Where is Nimi? We do see lots of women characterisations including Kabali fame Rythvika. But then, the mystery gets more intensified with Kathir disguising himself as a woman, which is not shown completely here.
Ron Ethan Yohan brims up the trailer with a Hollywood musical paradigm. The blue toned visuals in many places by cinematographer Navin Kumar looks like icing of the cake.
