Lyca Productions to Replace Dil Raju for Indian 2
On an unexpected turn of surprise, Lyca Productions will reportedly bankroll Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2. Produced at an incredulously huge number, Shankar will be wielding megaphone while Ravi Varman is cranking camera. The official confirmation involving AR Rahman is yet to be finalized. The project was officially launched during the Bigg Boss Grand Finale on Vijay TV.
Producer Dil Raju and Shankar graced over the occasion to make a formal announcement with Kamal Haasan. But now, it is a mixed feel of shock and surprise to see an unheralded change. It seems that AM Ratnam, the producer of Indian is insisting upon a huge royalty, which is not accepted by Dil Raju. The latter seems to have felt that paying huge money for royalty fee is somewhat really bigger and it will be an unwanted expense as Kamal Haasan and Shankar are getting paid huge. At this juncture, Lyca Production is holding talks to take over the project and the official announcement can be expected in next few days.
Meanwhile, Lyca Productions is now preparing for a grand audio launch of Rajinikanth starrer 2.O. The event will be the pinnacle of grandeur to be witnessed at the lavish flex of Bhurj Downtown Dubai on October 27.
