Maari 2 gets Maestro Ilaiyaraaja to flag off musically
Lots of baseless rumours and unceasing buzzes upon Maari 2 being either shelved or dropped had been happening over the season. But nothing hampered the hopes and invigorations of Dhanush fans, especially ‘Maari’ franchise buffs. Last month, the official announcement came with the pooja pictures of this film. Very soon, the shooting of this film will be commencing in Chennai with Sai Pallavi playing the female lead role. Moreover, the star-cast looks so much promising with proficient actors like Malayalam’s most celebrated Tovino Thomas, Kreshna and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. Yuvan Shankar Raja has already composed music for all the songs and recently, Maestro Ilaiyaraaja recorded a song. The pictures involving the team with Maestro has been trending on all social media platforms.
Dhanush unveiled the pictures on his Twitter page writing, “So happy to announce that the maestro Isaignani Ilayaraja sir sang a song today for #maari2. What a delightful divine experience. We feel so blessed and super thrilled. @thisisysr @directormbalaji.” (Sic)
