The most awaited movie, Maattrraan is slated for an October 12 release and fans are anticipating the release of the film with huge expectations as K.V.Anand has come out with a story of conjoined twins also known as Siamese twins for the first time in Tamil cinema. Surya plays the role of the conjoined twins and Kajal Agarwal plays the lead female role.
A major portion has been filmed at Balkan region in countries like Croatia, Serbia, Albania, Macedonia and especially a large chunk in Russia. Maatraan also noted to be the first Indian film to use Facial performance capture technology.
Maattrraan is touted to become Suriya’s biggest release till date with huge sold out distribution rights. Telugu Rights bought by Bellamkonda Suresh’s Multi Dimensional Films for a record price. The Karnataka and Kerala theatrical rights were sold to ‘Mandya’ Srikanth and he later sold the Kerala rights to Thameens release . The distribution rights of the Tamil version were sold to Eros International. While Jaya Tv holds the satellite rights for this movie.
Harris’s composition for this movie are already chart busters and the trigger is on among the fans. Let’s await a visual treat from K.V.A-Surya combo again.
