Madhavan signs Gautham Vasudev Menon’s VTV 2.0
So much of expectations mounted up when Gautham Vasudev Menon divulged an interesting information about his multi-starrer film Ondraga. Now the film seems to be renamed as VTV 2.0 that is the second instalment in the franchise of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya. The film was initially reported of featuring STR as Karthik’s spin off from the evergreen Romantic drama. There were even reports citing that Karthik will be joining his friends for a road trip eight years exactly after the climax of VTV where his heart was broken with Jessie leaving him. The additional information is that Tovino Thomas, Puneeth Rajkumar and Anushka Shetty are a part of this cast. Talks are going on with a leading Telugu actor to play lead role alongside these prominent actors.
Madhavan has confirmed the news about signing up for this project on his micro-blogging page. But there hasn’t been any word from him regarding reprising the role of Karthik from Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya.
Right now Gautham Vasudev Menon is busy with the final schedules of forthcoming movies like Dhruva Natchathiram and Enai Noki Paayum Thota.
