Mersal faces a new crisis after GST scenes deletion?
Vijay’s Mersal has been getting a huge score in box office run. The film has been scoring heavy numbers in worldwide box office graph. In Tamil Nadu, it has grossed 22.5Cr on Day 1 followed by same level of figures on Day 2 as well. While the producers are basked in glory over the success of this film, they’ve been slightly irked too. It is all about the resentments from political zones to delete the scenes involving GST dialogues. Some sources reported that producer Murali Ramasamy of Thenandal Studios Limited has accepted to remove or mute those sequences, another issue sprouts up now.
The Indian Medical Association has now decided to boycott the film for showing TN medical field in bad light. The doctors have expressed their disappointment for being projected in negative aspect. They mentioned saying there wouldn’t be any protests, which will indirectly promote the movie. Instead, they will boycott the movie in theatres. The Indian Medical Association members will be even meeting to producers of this film to prove that TN Medical Field is on good maps.
Nevertheless, when approached Sri Thenandal Films, they remained unavailable for the comments.
Let us wait and see if they are reaching media on this through official press note from their desk.
