Naan Ee is an upcoming Telugu-Tamil bi-lingual socio-fantasy film written and directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The Telugu version of the film is being produced by Sai Korapati under Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram banner and the Tamil version of the film is being produced by PVP Cinemas. The film stars Sudeep, Samantha and Nani in lead roles and Santhanam as a key.
Magadheera Director Rajamouli has finally confirmed that his much-awaited Naan Ee would hit the screens on 6th July 2012 . He said, ” The CG works have been completed and that the film would release on 6 July in both Tamil and Telugu, a special music video performed by hero Nani is also ready and it will be released very shortly “.
Initially the film was launched in 2010, it is being made with a whopping budget of 26 crore (US$5.19 million), a major share of 7 crore (US$1.4 million) was spent on special effects. Distribution rights has been sold to 34 crore. The Telugu version will be dubbed in Malayalam as Eecha and will be released at the same time as the Telugu & Tamil versions . The film is scheduled to be released on July 6th 2012, with over 1200 prints. This film might give Sudeep a popularity in the Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam film industries.
