Director Arivazhagan has roped in Tollywood actor Siddharth (of LBW fame) to play the anti-hero in his upcoming film, Vallinam.
The Eeram director says, “There’s been a lot of confusion because many assume that I’ve cast Boys Siddharth as the bad guy. But, it’s Siddhu, who shot to fame post his role in the Telugu film LBW, who is playing a character with negative shade in my film. We wanted someone who could look bratty, and at the same time, stylish. We’ve already started shooting his portions. In fact, we will be wrapping up the talkie portions by next month.”
The film, starring Nagulan in the lead, is about a basketball player. Atul Kulkarni also plays an important role in the film.
“We will have to shoot twoa more songs, and it will be canned in Goa soon. Thaman has given us some lilting melodies once again,”
