Muthaiya’s Kodi Veeran to feature Pasupathy in Villain role
Sasikumar is donning the lead role in a film titled Kodi Veeran. The film directed by Muthaiya also has Mahima Nambiar, Poorna, Vidharth, Sanusha and Bala Saravanan in important roles. N R Raghunanthan is composing the music while S R Kathir is handling the camera. Sasikumar is producing the film under the banner Company Productions. This is his 10th film produced by him.
Director Muthaiya held talks with Arjun for a powerful villain role. Though Arjun was impressed by the role, this could not materialize due to salary problems. Now Pasupathy has been signed for the role. Pasupathy is well known for his villain performances. Also, Poorna is playing a negative role in this film for which she has gone bald. The crew began filming in the month of March. Most of the shoot is being carried at village sides. This action family drama is said to be on the lines of brother-sister relationship.
Earlier Muthaiya and Sasikumar had joined hands for the film Kutty Puli. There was an overwhelming response for this film.
