Producer Murali accepts to delete Mersal scenes
It is not about the entire state of Tamil Nadu, but ‘Mersal’ issue has turned to be a raging war between political groups now. It all commenced when BJP demanded to delete dialogues involving GST issues in the film uttered by protagonist (Vijay). In regard to this issue, several members from Tamil film fraternity have expressed their support for Mersal team. It has even touched the attention of political parties, where they started getting it more sensational. Amidst all such upheavals and discussions, Producer Murali of Thenandal Studios Limited has written an open letter.
He says, “Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who has made the film ‘Mersal, a good hit. Offering entertainment has been my motto and in no way to hurt anyone’s sentiments. We at Thenandal have been personally in touch with the BJP leaders of the state, who have been patient on our clarification. We will also be meeting the party leaders in this context shortly. In case of hurting anyone, we are ready to remove the scenes that are insisted.”
