South Indian actress Janaki, who has been named after her film ‘Shavukar’ as Shavukar Janaki is back. Shavukaru Janaki,who had done roles as Actress, Special Appearance & Supporting Actress has made a place for herself in the hearts of Tamil film lovers is planning for a come back. She made a remarkable debut in 1950 with Telugu film Shavukaru and her impeccable performances in Doctor Chakravarthi, Motor Sundaram Pillai, Uyarnda Manidan, Parthal Pasi Theerum and many more ,so far acted in 385 films.
She is making her come back after 15 years in ‘Vanavarayan Vallavarayan‘ which is being directed by ‘Kunguma Poovum Konjum Puravum’ fame Raj Mohan. In this movie, Shavukar Janaki will be playing grandma to Kazhugu fame Krishna, which is the key role. Janaki reported that Tamil Cinema industry has made me a successful actress and I’m happy to make my come back with Vanavarayan Vallavarayan, in which I’ll be playing an important role. Further she adds, ‘ I have not declined to acting. Its fact that no one offered me a role. I chose to concentrate on my spiritual work. I feel enthused and bubbling with energy in getting back to screen again’.
