There was a buzz long back that Kamal Haasan’s Sigappu Rojakkal which was released in 1978 will be remade by Manoj Bharathi, son of director Bhrathiraja. Sources says that this remake will be having popular stars for the lead roles which will be announced in a week time once finalized. Bharathiraja will also be seen in a role in this remake adds the source.
The original version had music composed by Ilaiyaraja and the remake version will have music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the film is likely to go on floors by December 2014. Still an official confirmation on this news is expected.
