Thalaivaa is an upcoming film of Ilayathalapathy Vijay after the biggest blockbuster of 2012 Thuppakki. The film features Amala Paul as Vijay’s pair and Ragini Nandwani, Rajiv Pillai, Santhanam and Sathyaraj in supportive roles. It will an Action Thriller directed by A. L. Vijay who earlier did Thandavam with Vikram and did not click well at the Box Office. Thalaivaa is produced by Chandra Prakash Jain and it is also being dubbed into Telugu as Anna – Born to Lead.
This is a great opportunity for AL Vijay to bounce back in form with Vijay being the lead which gives a high confidence. Vijay has earlier given 4 consecutive hits. Therefore, there is high expectation on this film and Vijay to continue his Hit formula. The music received good response overall, although “Vaanganna Vanakkanganna” & “Tamil Pasanga” were pick of the album.
The film is to open immense worldwide. Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai express will surely reduce the maximum opening for Thalaivaa but WOM after the release will be the decider!
