The entire team of Vazhakku Enn 18/9, including its producer Lingusamy and director Balaji Sakthivel, are on cloud nine -thanks to the tremendous response it has got at the box office, apart from the critical acclaim. The movie has been declared a hit. When the cast an crew of the flick met the media recently, it was an emotionally charged moment though Balaji chose many of them, they had a non-filmy background and were facing the camera for the first time. They shared their unforgettable experiences while shooting for the film. Balaji Sakthivel was speechless before the press but what he did to express his feelings shocked everyone.
The intense filmmaker asked Lingusamy to go in front of the media and prostrated before the entire gathering -much to the astonishment of everyone.
It is reported that, “A lot of people from Mumbai are showing a keen interest to remake it in Bollywood. Lingusamy is in a plan to arrange for a special screening for several Mumbai filmmakers – including Rajkumar Hirani. He has been interacting with actor Madhavan to get in touch with some of the B’town filmmakers known for their sensitive films. It seems Balaji will direct it in Hindi too.
