Vijay Antony to replace Vijay’s Doctor Role now?
Actor Vijay’s role as Dr. Maaran in Mersal has been highly talked upon for his inspiring avatar. It involves the characterization of Vijay as a humble and good-hearted doctor, who just charges Rs. 5 for the poor and underprivileged patients. Glimpsing back in time, it is worth mentioning that director Seeman had approached Vijay to play a revolutionary doctor in the film ‘Pagalavan’. This was supposed to be Vijay 51st film, but didn’t happen due to some reasons. It had lots of political and social issues, which was expected to be a game change in Vijay’s career. But with the project still kept shelved, it looks like Seeman would have been slightly disappointed to see Vijay as Doctor in Atlee’s Mersal.
According to the latest reports, Seeman has approached Vijay Antony with the script. Much spellbound over the complete draft, the music director turned actor is showing up more interest now. If everything goes well as planned, Vijay Antony will start shooting for Seeman’s script after completing his current projects. At the moment, Vijay Antony has got few more portions in Annadurai and Kaali to be completed.
While Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi is directing the film Kaali, his other movie Annadurai featuring him in dual roles is helmed by Srinivasan.
